This is to show that Oragami is used in advertising today and this example is really good as the paper has been shaped into a pig and the ingredients of the cat food is pork.

Paul Rand is a well know Graphic Designer. He has produced work for a range of well known companies such as IBM. His work has a cut-out style and looks very enjoyable. The styling is quite childlike but i believe this makes his designs friendly and easy to digest.

An example of how to present people by the fashion illustrator James Thomas - this design is created in a collaged manner.

This is a great example of something that I would like to do - It is very successful and the design is simple but really effective.

This is a great example of paper collage which is more along the lines of what I am wanting to do however I am hoping for a more 3D approach.

This example of paper sculpture is amazing and the detail within it is very inspiring and shows alot of determination.

This Orchestra shows a very complex style of origami which works well and the format is something that may work as part of what I am going to so with the stages of life.

Another way of using paper, this great example shows how one sheet can be developed into two different visuals of different dimentions.

Julien Vallee

The idea of using paper in some way - maybe in 3d is really interesting. The concept behind it is that paper comes from trees and they give out oxygen to allow us to breathe which goes with the main theme of the project.
